The Hudson Area Library Foundation encourages you to Vote Yes! on November 4, 2008 to secure the municipal portion of funding for renovation of the NMC building as the new and vastly improved site for the Hudson Area Joint Library.  Imagine a beautiful, spacious and semi-green Lakefront Library next to the Phipps Center for the Arts, along the beautiful St. Croix National Scenic Riverway in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Please join our Facebook group "Vote Yes for Your Lakefront Library, Hudson, Wis." at www.facebook.com (requires establishing a free Facebook account).

The Hudson Area Library Foundation wishes to thank the families of Sandra Griswold and Georgia Weitkamp for their recent generosity in donating memorials in honor of these two wonderful individuals from the Hudson area.  Griswold was a foundation board member and a counselor and mediator, and Weitkamp was a librarian and educator.  The Foundation is extremely pleased that the families and the memory of these two outstanding women will be noted publicly as the first philanthropists for the Lakefront Library campaign.  The foundation is also pleased to acknowledge a $30,000 gift from the Friends of the Hudson Library, who manage the used bookstore in the library's current location.

A formal capital campaign will begin in December 2009.  To volunteer or for more information please contact us (or click on the "Contact Us" button at the top of this page).
